NEW INFO: ECU's Danny Webster Charged With DWI
Danny Webster was charged with DWI early Saturday morning. Greenville police say the junior receiver was spotted traveling down East 10th Street around 1:00 a.m. They say his car was swerving from left to right.
The officer pulled Webster over in the parking lot of St. Peter's Catholic Church where he tried several times to administer a breathalyzer test. The officer then obtained a search warrant for blood to be drawn.
The Havelock native was suspended indefinitely from the team in October for a violation of team rules. He had 18 catches for 144 yards and a touchdown in the first 5 games of the 2013 season.
