Mom searching for kids charged with DWI
New York State Troopers in Boston say they were called to the Boston Free Library on Monday because a woman was unable to locate her children.
When Troopers arrived, the woman, Julie L.Turner, had already left the library. Troopers say Turner struck the building with her car while she was trying to leave.
Turner returned to the library, and troopers say she was intoxicated. Troopers took Turner home, where she discovered that her children had left her a message that they were at the neighbor's house.
After checking that the children were safe, Troopers arrested Turner for driving while intoxicated, refusing a breath test and speeding.
She will appear in Boston Town Court at a later date.
