Man accused in high-speed chase faces DWI charges
A Rochester man who led State Police on a high-speed chase that spanned two downtown highways overnight is facing felony charges.
Echo Street resident Donald J. Hoskins, who was accused of driving drunk and without a driver's license, was apprehended by Trooper T.J. Loewke early Wednesday morning. He reportedly reached speeds up to 90 mph on Interstate 490 and nearly 70 mph — twice the speed limit — on city streets.
